We will gather to celebrate the many gifts of spring and how the season might invite inner awareness, guidance and inspiration. As part of nature, our bodies are attuned with seasonal changes that we celebrate together.

During our gathering we will experience various meditative practices in nature including a forest soaking walk, the science of equinox, and time to reflect on what is “springing forth” in our life and what needs “cultivating”. We will close our gathering with a time of sharing around a campfire with poetry and a spring blessing for all.

Cathy is a RYT (200) in the Integral Hatha Yoga tradition and integrates mindfulness into the practice of yoga with a seasonal nature focus. She teaches meditation in nature, mindful meditation in the tradition of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and is a Virginia Master Naturalist.

Sue enjoys sharing community in nature with others and has a special interest in astronomy and bringing the science of solstice and equinox alive through hands-on learning.
